There is a BBQ stove that can be carried with one hand!
My hobby, which I’ve been fantasizing about for years, wanting to go around Japan on a bicycle someday, is to research, buy, and try outdoor goods in preparation for the coming time. The BBQ stove introduced this time is one of the items that I wanted to bring with me after actually using it!
The world’s smallest BBQ stove!
This is a mini BBQ stove and fire stand from a manufacturer called CAMPING MOON, and is said to be the smallest in the world. The maximum height is about 20 cm. Both width and depth are about 19 cm. When you hear that it is the smallest in the world, you may imagine the size of a piece of roasted meat with or without it, but it is not the smallest in the world for such miniature-level appreciation, but firmly. It feels like the world’s smallest practical level where you can bake meat and fish.
he material is iron and stainless steel and weighs 1.6 kg.
Looking at the number of 1.6kg, it’s not really light, but it’s so light that it’s impossible for a BBQ stove, and I feel that it’s made very solid and durable.
Can be folded and stored → Assembly is completed in about 30 seconds!
If you fold it and put it in the attached storage bag, it will be so small!
The size when folded is 20 cm in length and width, and it is super compact with a thickness of 6 cm. With a storage bag, it’s easy to carry. Let’s actually assemble from this state.
5 parts in total
It is divided into a gridiron, a bonfire, a charcoal floor, a base plate, and a grill bridge.
Grill bridge
First, open the grill bridge (base).
Charcoal fire receiving floor
Attach it to the base so that the charcoal fire receiving floor is hung. This is a part that catches the burnt charcoal residue. Thanks to the charcoal receiving floor, it can be used as a bonfire even in places where open flames are prohibited.
Bonfire
Place the bonfire. It acts as a fuel tank and windbreak.
Base plate
Place the base plate. Fuel such as charcoal is placed on this and used.
Put the grill on it and you’re done!
The height of the grill can be adjusted in 3 steps. It’s durable, so you can put a pot on it and use it for boiling water or cooking.
I will introduce the flow later in the video, but the assembly was completed in about 30 seconds.
Actually grill the meat and report the usability!
Prepare solid fuel for burner and coconut charcoal
This time, I chose the solid fuel of coconut husk charcoal that seems to fit this BBQ stove best.
As expected, it fits perfectly ~
There are some gaps, but it’s just right.
Burn with a burner!
I ignited it with a burner quickly. It seems that this one can be used for 4 steaks for about 1 hour. It ignited immediately, so let’s bake the meat.
Yakiniku started !!
About 6 pieces of grilled meat were placed at a time.
Can you tell the size?
Then I changed the net and tried to bake the shellfish. I will also add soybean charcoal.
The net is a 28 cm diameter product that I bought for 100 yen.
The attached net is sturdy and will not break easily, but there are no special replacements available, so if you want to replace it, use a commercially available one. The one with a diameter of about 28 cm is recommended.
It was an impression that I actually used it, but although it was small, the firepower was perfect, and I thought that it was large enough to be used by two people as well as one person. Today I tried it at the BBQ Square in my neighborhood, but I would like to use it in various mountains all over the country as soon as possible!
Author’s recommendation: About the perfect fuel and ignition method
As a result of various trials after shooting, I found that using blue solid fuel as the ignition agent and soybean charcoal as the main charcoal for this mini BBQ stove is the easiest and requires less luggage.
Ignition agent solid fuel and main charcoal
The blue solid fuel used as an ignition agent is the fuel on the left of the image used in pots for one person that appear in inns. Place this on the charcoal receiving floor.
Soybean charcoal is a fuel formed by molding charcoal for BBQ and is easier to ignite than ordinary charcoal. As the name suggests, the size is about 3 to 6 cm in size, which is perfect for this small stove.
For me, this combination is the strongest! The ignition method is very easy. Just ignite the solid fuel of the ignition agent with a lighter!
